Why Saturated Fat and Cholesterol are NOT the enemy!

By Greg Brookes

I was pleased to see this week that the whole argument against saturated fat causing heart disease has been intensifying.

Heart specialists are now starting to come forward and admit that the true cause of heart disease is NOT saturated fat but processed carbohydrates.

It only takes a quick look back in time to see that we have been eating animal fats for thousands of years but used to have only very limited access to sugars.

Food marketing companies have been selling us lies for many years and removing the fat from foods in an effort to make us think it’s healthier.

The problem is when you remove natural fat from a food it also loses its taste, let alone its ability to make you feel full.

To add more taste to fat free foods they get pumped full of sugar, synthetic chemicals and fillers.

Plus fat also slows down the absorption of sugar into the blood stream so those fat free foods are often sugar bombs that gets stored as fat quicker that you can get full on them.

The real cause of heart disease and bad cholesterol is the rise in sugar and carbohydrate consumption.

Artificial sugar, processed carbs and LDL cholesterol are the worst for our body.

One should avoid sodas, soft drinks at any cost!
