Assessments
We don’t guess how you move and your problem areas, we assess and then work on your weaknesses. If you have a bad back, knees or shoulders then we sort these things out first. This is nothing to worry about but it is an essential part of our programme design.
Nutrition
You cannot lose fat without a sensible nutrition plan. If this is your goal then based upon your initial health questionnaire you will receive a healthy eating plan. It’s all safe, natural and does NOT involve just eating salads all day.
Workouts
Depending on the results of your assessment and your goals you could be doing a number of things from swinging kettlebells, to body weight exercises to boxing. Here’s a typical session layout.
- Soft Tissue Work:Â Working on trigger points and activating lazy muscles
- Mobility Warm Up:Â Improving mobility to decrease injury potential
- Movement Preparation:Â Specific body weight movements to prepare for exercise
- Corrective Exercise:Â Targeted exercises for improving your weaknesses
- Core Activation:Â Getting to your core and not a sit-up in sight
- Strength Training:Â Increasing Resistance for toning muscle
- Cardio Training:Â May be boxing, body weight exercises, sprints, skipping and more
- Corrective Flexibility:Â Stretching your tight muscles and correcting posture
All this will take place in approx. 45 mins – 60 mins. Every session is different and progressive with the emphasis placed on safe and scientifically proven exercise. This is NOT boot camp.
