Right. The first exercise we’re going to do is the hip opener, a good exercise to start with.

As it says, it really opens the hip and also opens up the back as well, so it’s a great warm up exercise. Here we go.

Start on the floor. Push-up position but with the hands a little bit closer together. Bring one of the legs up to where the hands are.

From here, take the hand, breathe in, and open up the chest.

Next the tough bit.

We breathe out, and we take the elbow and we place it down as close as we can, to the instep. Breathing out, breathe in again.

Open the chest up. Out, in. Out, in.

Make sure you keep these hips nice and low, and keep this foot nice and high and up by the hands.

You’re going to perform 10 repetitions on each side. By the time you’ve finished that, your groin and your hips are going to feel nice and loose, and your back’s going to be opened up as well.

20 to do in total, 10 on one side, 10 on the other.
