The Rotation Diet Conclusions

A rotation diet consists of eating only certain foods from the same family on one day and then not again for another 5 days. This process is then repeated for 3-6 months so that the digestive system is cleansed and intolerance’s to certain foods can be identified.  I have been on many rotation diets over the past years but this one I found particularly interesting.

As a strong believer in metabolic typing (the theory that we are all unique on the inside and so cannot eat the same foods) it was no surprise that certain days of the rotation diet were better than others. Day 2, as listed below, was a terrible day for me. I had a serious lack of energy and my stomach was in a real mess all day. However, day 1 was an excellent day and I shall certainly be eating more of those foods in the future.

As with all these types of healthy eating diets it should be treated as an ongoing experiment, listen to your body; are you hungry after 2 hours of eating? Do you feel energised? Are you losing ugly body fat? Do you feel bloated? It’s time to become more conscious of what you eat and how it reacts with you as a person and not everyone else. I know berries are bad for me but my friends have no symptoms at all.

Keep your food natural. Buy organic foods if you can. Buy fresh and avoid packaged meals. Listen to your body, rotate your meals and enjoy your food. Being fit and healthy does have to be a chore.

Enjoy, Greg
