If you’re performing all the correct core exercises and still haven’t achieved that flat stomach, then chances are you need some intestinal gardening. 90% of disease begins in the intestines.
Ensuring you eat an organic diet is vital but variety is also important. Are you guilty of just eating 5 or 6 different meals on a regular basis? Without variety we can develop intolerances, chances are you’re already intolerant to a number of foods you eat.
A great way to improve your gut and discover which foods work best for you is to eat a rotational diet. The process is simple, allow 5 days between each food type eg. have your meal on Monday and then make sure you don’t eat those same foods again until Saturday. Take a note how you feel after each meal, what makes you feel bloated, energised, sleepy etc. Stick to good whole foods, meat, fruit and vegetables. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
Just by adding variety into your diet, discovering your food intolerances and spring cleaning your gut will make vast improvements into flattening your stomach.
For an even more tailor made programme you should consider metabolic typing. Start eating what’s good for you and not your neighbour!
To your good health, Greg – Personal Trainer London
