Why choose GB Personal Training?
We offer a holistic approach to your training. The body is so complex that just addressing exercise or nutrition is never enough. We believe in getting to know YOU. It is only when we understand YOU that we can prescribe a course of action. With our experience in individualizing programs, we ensure that you get results in a way that suits YOU.
Where would I exercise?
Simple, either at your home or outside in a nearby park. You will be amazed at what little space we really need. Everyone is shocked at what little space you need to change the way you look and feel.
When can I exercise?
We are early risers. So we can start before you go to work in the morning or after you finish work in the evening. For those with time in the day we can do that too. Basically, we fit around your busy schedule.
What will I be doing?
Everyone is different. No two workouts are the same. What is good for your best friend may not be good for you. Based upon your goals and results from our assessments, you may be swinging kettlebells, using boxing pads, working on your core, improving mobility, rehabilitating dysfunctional muscles, stretching tight muscles. You will NOT be running around the park or doing hundreds of situps.
What results will I achieve?
Currently most clients lose 7-14lbs in 30 days. This generally involves following our nutritional plan and exercising 3 times per week only. Energy certainly improves as does sleep, skin, muscle tone and wellbeing. More info on our happy clients feedback.
What if I have an existing injury?
Our thorough assessments highlight problems and we address them at the source. We have the experience to deal with most injuries and ensure that things are put right before moving forward. We often find that by correcting movement problems, that you did not know about, resolves other problems throughout the body.
How many times do I need to exercise?
You will be recommended to exercise between 2 and 5 times per week. More is not always better. Most people get surprising results only exercising 2 times per week and following a nutritional plan. A consultation will highlight how often you should exercise. We no longer offer training only once per week for new clients.
Can my friend train too?
Training with a friend can be fun and motivational. It is cheaper too. Providing you both have similar goals and are of a similar fitness level and injury free then we can offer 50% off the second persons fee.
