Personal Training Secret #4 What really makes you fat

I'm a huge fan of the 80/20 rule. You know, 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. In other words do less and get more!

When it comes to fat loss the same rules apply. Making small changes can yield huge results if you change the RIGHT things.

In my experience, and the reason why I have been able to guarantee fat loss and promote plans like "Lose 7lbs in 30 days or you Money Back" is because I concentrate on the most important things first.

And that one most important thing for fat loss is…..

SUGAR

I think just about everyone knows by now that sugar causes fat gain but I don't think people realise how much, and that it is hidden EVERYWHERE.

Sugar is additive and manufactures will add sugar to turn a BLAND NON NUTRITIOUS FOOD into something more palatable. The only reason sugar is added to "food stuff" is because the food is bad to begin with.

Manufactures are sneaky and realise that we should avoid excess sugar and so they rename it or use alternatives to make us feel comfortable with the ingredients:

Sucrose, Fructose, Maltose, Corn Syrup, Organic Sugar, Fruit Concentrate etc.

All of these are sugars or variation of a sugar, so BEWARE.

Our sugar consumption has been on the rise for the last 85 years and our Saturated Fat consumption has been declining. Yet there is more heart disease, obesity, diabetes than ever before.

If you think eating low fat foods, or cutting down on saturated fat is going to solve your fat problems then think again.

In fact if Saturated Fat was so dangerous the majority of us would not be here today. Reading studies by Weston A Price, reveals that North Americans, Eskimos, and other Tribes existed on up to 80% animal fats. Refined sugar was not around in these days and sweet foods were hard to come by.

So, if you really want to lose fat and make the biggest impact, STOP eating sugar:

1. Alcohol is one of the worse sugars and easily digested through the gut
2. Look out for all forms of sugar, anything ending in "ose" or any syrups.
3. Fruit is still sugar, use very sparingly and stick to apples (the fibre slows down absorption)
4. White flour is so processed it acts the same as a simple sugar, so all white flour is off. No bread, cakes, pasta.
5. Avoid Sugar Alternatives, Splenda, Aspartame etc. These trick the brain and leave you craving more sugar, so no diet drinks.

The choice is up to you. Serious about fat loss then avoid all of the above, no excuses.

Sugar really is the killer in today's society. Start being a "Sugar Detective" today and realise how much you are consuming on a daily basis. Do you really need this much energy sitting at a desk all day?
